When Future Finance brought in The Cohorts to rebuild their website they didn’t just get a fresh new look. They got a more streamlined CRM system and increased business.
It wasn’t hard for Future Finance general manager Lee Davies to choose a digital agency for an overhaul of the company website. The Cohorts had built the original website and Lee’s experience of the team had been very positive.
‘The thing we liked about Reuben and Miriama was that they took the time to really understand our business,” Lee explains. “Every expectation we had, they delivered on.’
Nearly a decade on since the original build, and with considerably more competition in the marketplace, Lee knew it was time for a rebrand.
She engaged Christchurch creative agency Double Lux to supply digital designs to wireframe specifications from the Cohorts.
The new site is mobile and tablet friendly and also allows for a smoother user experience, with an app-style interface.
But Future Finance got more than just a fresh-new look and enhanced user experience. The Cohorts recognised the opportunity to integrate the loan application process with Future Finance’s client relationship management (CRM) system, thereby streamlining processes which were previously undertaken manually.
“A lot of the back end stuff - after-sales emails and client letters - are now automatically triggered and sent out through the website,” says Lee. “It was something that The Cohorts suggested and implemented. Previously those letters were manually printed out and then posted to clients.”
Furthermore, by redesigning the online loan application process, The Cohorts created a system that allows Future Finance to automatically contact people who embark on, but do not complete an application. Already this automated follow up has translated into considerable sales.
Future Finance found the switch over to the new website very smooth.
